Interesting and a kool idea. But we also have to keep in mind that a patent is not an actual product, and it may never become an actual product...

For something like this I cant imagine it woudn't be an easy to sell/produce item they could charge like $250 for and make easy doll hairs!

It’s an interesting idea, but it seems a little redundant.

"The portable battery may charge a user device or the vehicle itself" well that’s super interesting. How exactly would it charge the vehicle itself? Maybe as a back up for the 12V battery? Or just maybe random nonsense….

Patents like to include capabilities even if it would be ridiculous to use it that way. Prevents a competitor from doing the same thing in the same way without licensing it.

I'd add that it is a pretty confined space today and batteries are not partially energy dense but give it a few (++) years and you could have 5-10 times the density and a bit of redesign for more space and... so makes sense.

Probably better to solve the vampire drain and there will be enough power around to the tune of 1kwh per day! Right now it's like tossing one of those out the window every day.

When a battery capacity is reported as 100 Ah, what voltage is that at?

For portable phone chargers seems like they always report mAh or Ah @ 5V.

Is it assumed to the same for something like this?
