Nice. It should definitely fit diagonally, which I'm thinking will be the case with mine. There should be plenty of room for some extra mags.Interesting! I'm hoping the interior dimensions will allow a HG and a OWB kydex to fit.

@EV Sportline I just ordered this as it seems to be the best way to store a firearm in this vehicle. Can you tell me how long it will take to get here? I have multiple firearms that I will test fit and send picture to you when I receive it.

I'm still searching for the solution to keep my speaker, and have self defense that's hidden. There is so little spare space anywhere in this interior.
Also I guess this is not possible because of Rivian's software logic, but...my fantasy locking scenario would be that the container is locked when the car is locked. Just like the automatic gear guard cable. And unlocked while driving/car unlocked.

So if the cable is not installed. Someone just takes it and runs with it right? I ask because someone smashed my rear quarter panel two weeks ago. If they break the window and get in, they take it right? Unless physical cable is attached. Where does the cable attach to?

Okay, I just shot a video to show you - the cable attaches to the seat frame. So unless they can rip the seat out of the truck, you're good. The video helps explain it better.

Great product concept but it's a total failure that it doesn't interact with the Rivian software. A $1 PCB could tell Rivian that there's a drawer and it's locked so it can't be pulled out.

The claim that it's not secure because anybody with a key can access it doesn't make sense, because the owner is the one with the key.
