If I were guessing it's due to their release process is tightly coupled to some of these assumptions as it relates to partial rollouts, etc.

Timing obviously depends a lot on team development priorities and pretty much any software group will see major shifts in priority when/if new stuff or bugs come in that take a lot of time. Just the nature of software development. Also why they tend to only go to a half year or maybe a quarter and rarely more specific than that when they give us any timeline.

I love the car, the team, the company, etc, etc, etc. I wish Wassym and Co. would learn to stop giving timeframes. They are never, ever accurate and it just adds fuel to the ongoing bitchfest. And the irony is that I believe that they are excited about all the stuff they are working on and actually want to get it into our hands.

Just got the update.

Got the update last night, the newer version of the update. Way better audio performance on my commute this AM, SiriusXM loads way faster, very minimal buffering. Apple Music loads faster as well. Apple has a very chatty protocol and requires lots of management of the buffer, etc, seems like the team did that. Tesla had similar issues when they first rolled out Apple Music support.

This is all swell. Usually, it takes a few days before my number comes up for any access to a software update. This time, I think I was in the very first batch - woo-hoo, lucky me. I’m afraid I made the mistake of jumping right in with this sketchy update. Then, the bugs show up and it gets pulled. What are the odds
