Since the RA update landed I haven't been able to use the driving assist. I think there's a privacy setting but I've enabled mine properly I think and still the DA doesn't work. I haven't tried a hard reset though, so that might be the fix. Just keep forgetting to do it until I try to use DA and it says no.

My T did the same for about a month. thought I was a good 00-700 yards away. this is why your garage doors don't pop any more, it doesn't know you are home... I let it sleep for like 5 days, no charger cable no driving, jsut sitting int he garage for a bunch of deep sleeps and it kinda fixed itself...
I had to delete my wife's profile because of the same. I'm 6'3" she is 4'10" so it was a big deal when the truck would try to make me eat my knees and put my head through the roof...
Same. My wife is 5 foot nothin and my big ass 6 foot one self was getting squished every single time. She really never drives my truck so I just deleted her phone key. Problem solved!

I honestly don't understand comments like this. My air vents are perfectly aimed, and I never have to touch them. Ever. As in I set them once when I got the car four years ago and that's where they are still. That's hasn't been true of any other car I've ever owned. Especially the ones with mechanical vents where I always have to re-adjust because someone else changed the directions or because I bumped them while getting in/out.

Maybe I'm just weird and normal people like to change the vents frequently. But then why complain about having to change the vents?
Same here - I have set my AC to 72 auto and my vents once and I haven’t touched the temp or the vent setting since I bought my new R1T 3 weeks ago. I can’t recall any vehicle AC I’ve ever had to fiddle with as little as this one. Super consistent performance - I’ve been impressed by it.

All sorts of little software issues are starting to pop up onmy 2022 R1T. The Efficiency Graph has disappeared from my driver display. The right thumb control to open the garage door briefly disappeared, then reappeared. My truck started to lock at home even though I had it set not to lock at home. When the car is charging at home it says that the charge rate is 0.0 even though it is charging.

I called Rivian and they wanted me to schedule an appointment at the Sevice Center, and none of this is a big enough deal that I want to take it in. I can wait until there is something important, and then I'll have them address this as well, if it is still happening. It is a software issue that should be solved remotely. They don't want to do that.

Ideally, we should be getting an update that would help. But it feels like I'm driving an orphan now.

Have you tried either of the reboots of the vehicle to see if it resolved those issues?

I was having strange issues as well (reboots, GPS inaccuracies) and the service center blamed my thumb drive used for the dash cam. It isnt new though the problem is, which may be related to updates. After combing through error logs etc they figured out it was the drive, then charged me $$800 bucks because the problem wasnt "theirs". I cant see how it was my fault either though...a good faith gesture could have been made to split the difference IMO. At any rate with a new Sandisk Extreme drive the problem is gone. First world problems of driving a computer I guess....

I've heard this before and it isn't specific to Rivian. Even on commercial trucks like International and Hino, if you send one in to be serviced for anything electrical, the first thing the dealer does is unplug any 3rd party or aftermarket stuff - drivecams, etc.

Although thumb drives *can* go bad and cause issues, a lot of places defaulting to that being the issue without digging further is pretty lame. ☹

Exactly - seems like the simplest piece of software to have the icon switch to cooling with the temp outside is above 72 or something like that.

There is A LOT of screen tapping in general needed to do simple things. Don't get me started on the Spotify UI!
Mine switches to cool when it is hot out automatically.

[*]Limits the speed to something set by the user. In NYC where I know the Rivian isn't leaving the garage, 15 MPH would be fine, but in Philly where they may be driving it to another lot I don't want to limit the speed
[/LIST]
Too much to ask?
There needs to be an option to set the valet speed based on the city.
NYC - 15 MPH
Philly - 30 MPH
Chicago - 102 MPH
