2024.07.03 Software Update Released

I installed .07.02 on Wednesday. Haven't noticed any issues, but I haven't used my R1S much since. I am not seeing the 07.03 (at least not yet). I wonder what the hot fix is fixing.

Going from 3.02 to 7.03 now... I'm working/Drive Testing Wireless E911 in NY State & charging at Magic Docks just about every workday. I was in Penn State last month. Only one Magic Dock down there. Can't wait for adaptor to ship! 19.8k miles in 7 months. Tarkus needs her "juice" daily!!

It took about two hours, and Opal is now updated to 2024.07.03. We will play with the new goodies in the morning.

I'm never in a hurry to update just for this type of reason. Over the years I've had to deal with too many buggy firmware updates on all type of devices. I got 2024.07.02 about 5 days ago, didn't update. It's still showing 2024.07.02 available to install, not 2024.07.03. I'm happy to wait.

My charge port door stopped opening after 2024.07.02. It may be a coincidence or it may be due to the update hence this hotfix.
I haven't seen much else with charge port door issues online so I'm guessing the two are unrelated.

Out of the sixty 2024.7.3 installs, only one was previously 2024.7.2. Not sure what that means other than any potential problem seems very limited. FWIW I installed 2024.7.2 on day one and so far, no issues

Curious, does it show T or S on the deployments? Seems like the ones I saw confirmed getting the 2024.7.3 were all Ts.

From Electrafi it shows both R1T & R1S.

I just received it and installed it. All went fine.

Same- easy install w/o issue

Just encountered issue where easy access seating position doesn’t revert back to normal driver position. Vehicle unlocked in my garage. Seems like 7.0.3 didn’t fix.

Some people had install failures on .02 so this might be a hot fix to avoid whatever issue it was upon installing.
