Use both your feet to drive when you are reversing. Resting on the brake pedal stops the auto-park nanny.
For me, wearing my seatbelt (when butt in the air driving) prevents auto-parking.

Locking/unlocking needs a lot of work. I would love to use PAAK but the car constantly unlocks itself without my knowledge--I live in an urban environment and routinely park on the street, so that's really no bueno. That means that I have to rely on the fob and it's not great either. There's a weird delay (car has to think about my request before unlocking), which makes me hit the unlock button 14 more times. So far this is the clunkiest experience in or around the car for me. Not unbearable but hopefully some changes coming.

Thatā€™s not proximity unlocking, itā€™s touch. Kinda different. I know what youā€™re saying, though, I liked that feature on my old IS350.
I think the difference is really just between proximity auto-unlocking (what you're describing) and proximity-enabled lock/unlock on the Lexus. The latter won't work for Rivians because I don't think there is a touch sensor on the handles, but the concept is the same - we need the ability to lock or unlock based on the presence of a fob.

this is surely a software matter, since the fob uses Bluetooth

Along with hi res music connectivity, bump up the Spotify functionality. Anyone figure out how to save or edit playlists on the native Rivian Spotify app?

1. Save climate settings from previous (aka keep ac seats on, keep floor vents open)
2. Improve spotify app
3. Geocoded gate/garage control (at least pop up the button if not automatically open)
4. Improve navigation routing
5. Improve Driver + (mainly lane centering and random unavailability of stretches of highway, start/stop/slow down works great)
6. Clock on the driver dash display
7. Dashcam/record on horn press
8. Internet browser app

It would be great to be able to adjust the charge setting from the phone, so I don't have to get into the car the night before a long trip to start a deeper charge. Also, it would be great to be able to schedule a charge to hit its target SoC just before a scheduled departure time.

And dashcam!

Edit: Wow, I sounds spoiled.

Less rumor, more wishlist for me here.
Youtube/steaming, and continuing to improve DCFC.

My hot take is I don't think you can actualy hit the 140 miles in 20 minute claim they advertise on the website based on EPA range with current software.

Simple timer feature, to delay re-locking(delay amount user selectable, 10, 20, 30, 60 seconds), after a PAAK unlock event.

I can't believe that I can walk up to vehicle, PAAK unlocks it, and by time I get close enough to hit the tail gate release or frunk release, it has already decided to lock itself. And then everybody in parking lot watching me try to get it to unlock again.

Since we are all wishing here:
-eliminate or at least reduce phantom braking in ACC
-further reduction in the standby power draw (vampire drain)
-more consistent and accurate PAAK
-enable wide FOV mode for the front camera view
-access to the bed camera while driving
