“clunking noise” when accelerating

First post and I appreciate you input. I am scheduled to visit the Rivian Service Center soon to address a noise in the front end when I accelerate. Sounds as if something is loose. Runs fine otherwise. Has anyone else experienced this? I couldn’t get an opinion from Rivian and I’m not sure if I will have to leave my car at the center. I live about 80 miles from the service center. Thanks. I have a 2023 R1S with about 30,000 miles.

Could be many things, you haven't provided any details for anyone to be able to diagnose online. There are many threads about suspension noises, look them up some have videos with examples that might match what you are experiencing.

Seems to clunk when I engage the throttle. Not noisy while driving at constant speed.

Got same issue, worse with turning + acceleration.
reading other posts. I’m at 54K miles

Mine (2022 Quad) has done this since about 10k miles...now at 32k...most often when starting off on an incline or decline...was always told it was normal. The loaner R1S I've been driving has 20k miles and has a similar feel on inclines/declines. My truck started getting a grinding noise in between regen and acceleration while cruising on the highway, and front drive unit is now getting replaced due to metal flakes in the oil. Basically, excessive play is gonna cause issues, but luckily we have long warranties.

The loaner I had in December had it really, really bad.
