As pointed out earlier the vehicle only has a certain amount of cooling capacity shared between the cabin and battery so a lot of it depends on the starting temperature of the battery pack and the set temp of the cabin AC if both are needing max capacity something has to give.
This is the equivalent of saying a generic sneaker shoe is best for everyone. Everyone has different priorities in what they prefer in a tire there is no wrong choice if it fits your needs.
I'm very happy with the Bridgestone Alenza Prestige tire performance so far, almost meets the original...
The greater question would be realistically how long are you going to keep your R2 and will you pay the subscription price for autonomy+. If you aren't likely to keep it for more than the warranty period you might as well buy now as Rivian isn't likely going to deliver everything they claim in...
I'm in the same camp as you, way too many nice cars out there to buy the same things twice. I'd rather try every type of vehicle out there before I repeat on the same model generation of anything.
A lot will depend on what your vehicle and the external inverter will support so highly depends on what you purchase later down the road. Ideally you'd want the highest rating passible to support your whole home. The GM kit is upto 9.6kw.
I've been so close to pulling the trigger on the Air a few times but then I'm reminded of all the software glitches and serviceability stance and realize it is way worse than Rivian which I'm already frustrated with about those aspects. Great car ruined by dumb glitches and policies. Maybe the...
Good luck with that RJ, just hoping isn't going to bring them back. Maybe offer some exclusive discounts to existing or previous owners to entice them.
Me personally I'm not a fan of the hostility against diy or 3rd party repairs so I'm out unless that changes.
G1 with 22's no nudging/corrections required here and after the update a couple of months ago the minor vibration at 75mph+ is also gone. Steering is butter smooth. Could be just old unevenly worn tires.
His answers seem a little disingenuous here, there is no way he doesn't know repair costs are very high for this class of vehicle. If this trend continues with R2, Rivian will feel it hard in about 3 years as R2 owners are going to be way more sensitive to prices and less forgiving than R1...
Wow all those coils on that charging pad and my phone struggles to find one and hold a charge, incredibly overengineered and still fails to do its core functionality.
Rivian might finally see a direct competitor if they actually build it. I'm digging the lego look of this thing, not a fan of the interior though. Cleaning it might not be fun though. I do like hearing it is designed for the "build maker" and modifier the complete opposite of Rivian's stance...
Wassym thanks for reaffirming my thoughts on moving on from Rivian. Just keeps going deeper down the path of touch, voice control and Ai none are great. Just give us access to a curated Android play store and most of the complaints go away no need to reinvent every app to pad that revenue stream...
To me it looks like a. Jaguar ipace. Just nothing about it says Ferrari, at least the Mazda looking suv was interesting to look at, this is just a boring tech appliance look. A Ferrari needs to be flashy, not practical.
Would be easy enough to just have a countersunk hole on the bottom of the new adapter, but you really don't want this adding more moving parts will make it even more sketchy if everything is not completely vertical slight lean and it will buckle.
All the people saying they don't need a rear wiper probably aren't driving in really dusty areas or on salted streets in snowy places. A rear camera or window without a wiper becomes useless within a couple of minutes with salt spray coming off from under the vehicle.
Also what this isn't...
