People hate on Kyle and OOO here, but I personally like their videos and find them informative. I want to see the 70 mph range test and DCFC 10 to 80% test ASAP. Also need to see the "improved thermals" and "oversized compressor" in use when DCFC. Rivian has promised a lot, let's see it in the real world summer!

Kyle's the only auto-influencer I've ever met and really conversed with (not the only youtuber though). To be honest, I think a lot of people are jealous that they can't just devote themselves to it. Especially because of how passionate he can be about the subject matter.

My R2 is going right into the shop to get disassembled/scanned/measured and modified. Hoping to come up with some good products for Rivian enthusiasts that are potentially a bit more involved than the majority of what's available for R1. More like what you see for the Jeep and Bronco crowd.

I mostly did, too, other than the fact that its banter index was off the effing chart. My wife hated it for that reason.

One of my favorite more recent R2 videos is EV OG's. It covers only the exterior and interior appearances and human comfort features, but it's chill, post-edited for more thoughtful and paced commentary, and has a nice comparison with R1S. I can only hope that our R2 comes with sonars like the ones he looked at, preferably deep-tow high frequency for maximal topographic and reflectivity detail.

Kyle is a very nice guy and one of the most knowledgeable of EVs out there. He knows all the technical stuff that’s over my head. Hate his long form all you want but he’s one of few YouTubers that provides actual value instead of just rehashing the news and info we can get ourselves straight from the source.
