Agreed. I think I may have to re-think the ocean coast interior in my build because the dog will likely need to sit on the seat. The dog is a mess every time we come back from the cottage.
I think this is my biggest (maybe only) disappointment with the interior. I would have really liked to have a flat floor like the ridgeline in the back. I recently saw Ford's fold flat storage solution below the seats, and that's pretty cool too! Close enough to flat I could totally stick a dog bed on it.

Does anyone know the width of the vehicle with mirrors extended? Trying to guesstimate how it would fit in my garage. Could you measure the width at the wheelbase? That would give a good comparison to my current vehicle. Thanks for all the info!
87” with mirrors extended.

Thumb drive plugged in but no ability to select as a source yet.
I have to say not having the ability to play music files from a USB source is very short sighted. First and foremost I am always about choice and this a huge choice that the customer will not be able to have. I can understand not going with Android Auto or Carplay - if you think you have a better solution more power to you. However if outside of my phone my only option is spotify then thats crazy. Second from a security perspective if I am at a campsite (no data at all) spotify is a bust, supposedly I can connect my phone and play music from it - fine. But what if I want to let others listen to music while I go for a hike? I will now have to allow them to connect to my vehicle just to listen to some sound files, I don't want to do that! It would be so so so much easier to put them on flash drive, hit random and call it a day. I just do not understand this. Way did my 2015 not only have a USB slot but an SD slot to play files from - how convenient. I reached out to customer service on this as well - they had no answer. You would think for $75k this would be a no brainer. Ok I'm done venting - now about the built in universal garage door opener...wait what?

Updated with more measurements.

Messed around with my 360 camera today. No talking just figured it would be cool to “take a ride”

I love that place!

Any chance you would be willing to take a ride up 87 or Taconic to La Grangeville EVolve NY highspeed charger? Probably about an hour, hour 30 each way with no traffic. For high speed charging.

A key use case for me in winter will be Long Island to Gore on weekends.

Just burn a CD! Oh, wait...
If it stays as cold as it is right now - 11 degrees down to 4 degrees later tonight - I might be tempted to burn some CDs, but I do have plenty of firewood, lol.

LOL - my wife tries to sell the same DVDs in a yard sale every year. I’m like, “Sorry but no one cares about Gilbert Grape. Throw that shot out.”

I was in Philly this week for work and Tuesday was brutal enough without any snow. Sounds like I got out at the right time!

Ouch! I resemble that remark.
It was 20 degrees outside Philly/Jersey today. F@ck! Then I watched the Bills game and decided I should shut up.

It was in the 70s when I left Charleston, and in the 60s when I got back, so I stand by my statement.
