Not great news for Canada that there's no Canadian version shown here yet (and we have no 2025s in the shop either): https://rivian.com/support/article/r1t-owners-guide

☹
Probably waiting for trasnlation to be completed in my experience. I still think they shoudl deliver in Sept-Oct like they had promised...they're already producing these cars at scale, I don't expect huge delays like we had in the past frankly

The big question is whether they will be available to voucher holders who frankly would have bought their truck years ago if only they could. We are still waiting for our SC to open in Montreal and I hope they won’t force us to buy the Gen 1 inventory now that it’s a discontinued product… delays to commit is their fault not ours And I wouldn’t buy an old gen iPhone, neither on old gen car. I know that gen 1 is still a great car and I wouldn’t trade it for the new version if I already got one… but I couldn’t…

Still no update to the warranty guide for 2025. I guess I should have asked that before I placed a non-refundable deposit.

What were you thinking/expecting to change?

Well currently the warranty guides gives QM a longer B2B warranty (60k miles vs 50k miles).

Will the next gen QM have that longer warranty, what about the TM?

Do the manuals change with OTAs?
I'd doubt it since the 2025 Guide may not be 100% relevant to previous year models.

edit: Oops. I thought the comment was intended as 'would i get the 2025 guide for my gen1 R1 vehicle', which may have been an incorrect assumption.

Warranties are the big question. The extended warranty of the past QM was a significant value....hoping they do that again with TM and QM.

Yes they do. Sometimes some changes in software aren't described in the patch notes but end up in the manual. And vice-versa.

I believe 3rd Row Seat Heating is new in the R1S, haven't seen that stated yet.

That is an excellent feature. It's rare for the third row to be heated.
