I mentioned in a separate thread, but the R2 commercial was showing up on YouTube TV ads over the past week (during March Madness).

I agree. I also think these ads need more text overlaying the b-roll, like…

• 0-60MPH in 3 seconds (show R2 accelerating)

• Over 300 miles of range (show R2 driving into the distance over hills)

• Charge from 10-80% in under 30 min with native NACS port and access to over 20,000 chargers, including the Tesla Supercharger Network and Rivian Adventure Network (show R2 NACS port being plugged into a Supercharger, RAN, EA, then cut to green charging bar) or charged at home (show average US charge per kW vs. gas)

• All of the space your family needs (flow through shot of R2’s frunk being opened and loaded, interior of car with happy family inside, camera pans out of rear window being opened as someone grabs something out of the back)

• Ground clearance Xft front Xft rear (show R2 off-roading on rough trail then itpulls into campsite with another R2 that has the rooftop tent deployed)

• End with Rivian Compass Yellow backdrop and black text ‘Keep Adventurous Forever’ then expanding text out to black backdrop and RIVIAN text in yellow.

This could be a 60 minute commercial that’s then broken into four 15-second segments (speed and distance, charging, space and family, off-roading and camping).

Have they mentioned anything about the yellow badging? I believe it is for the quad on the R1s. I like it but wonder what they are thinking with the R2.
