Did you get the adapter from Rivian?
No, this is the Magic Dock on one of their chargers. Luckily I was able to park on the end, in a striped spot, because otherwise the short cable will force you to park such that you take up two chargers for other Tesla vehicles.

What was the cost at that station if you don’t mind my asking?

Glad to hear they increased the output. In October when I hit up the charger it maxed out at 150 and I was worried that it would stay that way.

220kW charge rate. Steady. Truck was the limiting factor for the first time in a long time.

Nice! I still haven't found a charger in BC that will max out my truck :(

Maybe will do a road trip to Spokane (RAN) or George/Moses Lake (Magic Dock) this spring and get to find out!

Did the truck tell you that it was the limiting factor? I haven't seen any messages during charging lately and I always used to get a charger-limited message from a certain Enel X charger that said it was 150 yet would only deliver 37kw.

I was wondering if in one of the updates those messages went away.

Thanks for the Magic dock update... That is some great news.

Truck limits the charger as your motors heat up from the charging.

Truck maxes out at 212kwh or so. That's kinda well known. Something about 400v pack voltage and 500amp max input.

You gotta be kidding. You guys are bummed out that you’re only getting 150kw somewhere? I’d consider that to be screaming fast with all of the 6.6, 11, 70kw chargers I had to use on a recent trip from MSP to KC recently. 150 would be nirvana.

Typically when you see 35-45 kW as the limit on faster stations, it means their liquid cooled cables have failed in some way and they fall back to 100A charging, since that's what those cables are good for without being cooled.

If I lived somewhere where I had to use chargers slower than 150kW, there’s no way in hell I’d own an ev. I have no idea how you put up with that.
