I've not seen dimensions published to address this question: are the roof rack connectors spaced the same on the R1S and R2? I'm wondering if the R1S roof rack that i still have will fit the R2.
Thanks to all who chimed in. I sold it in less than a week to a small dealer who saw my listing on one of the many Rivian for Sale groups on Facebook. I got 59K quickly and avoided expensive plate renewal cost. (Minnesota is horrendous).
Circumstances have changed in our house and we no longer need two 4wd/ SUV vehicles. Since the Rivian is still worth a chunk, Iām looking at selling it⦠although I do love it!
I know many folks here have dealt with Carvana; just wondering if you know of other outfits that operate in the same...
Wow. Canāt say that I blame you for wanting to bail. I have 23,000 miles on my R1S, and while it has a few software ghosts, Iāve had nothing major happen. Iām sure there are many thousands of others like me, but youāre right in that Rivian needs to get their sh*t together on the service side.
Without trying to make this into a Mac vs. PC debate, Iād be very frustrated (as a Mac user) if I was forced to reboot my computer at least once a week. Thatās NOT ok, and the OP has every right to be frustrated. My Gen 1 R1S has not needed ANY reboots in 18 months and over 20,000 miles of...

Maple Grove, Minnesota is quaint, well-to-do suburb of Minneapolis. I can assure you that nothing adventurous happens there. What the heck are they thinking?
