will begin shipping out adapters for the Tesla Superchargers in the Spring of 2024. We signed the NACS agreement so by then we should be compatible with their Superchargers.

Stay adventurous,

That's the same as the email we got in June when they announced the deal with Tesla. I just hope Spring of 2024 doesn't mean starting to ship out on June 19th.

We are very much looking forward to being able to use the Tesla Superchargers. This will be a game changer for our Airstream trips. Between this and the 50 amp outlets at campsites, our RV adventures will be a piece of cake.

I want to see the looks on everyone's faces when the wife and I pull up to a Tesla supercharger with our 28-ft travel trailer. ?
At least a lot of the V3 stations have a trailer pull thru like the RANs. I would hate to try to charge at an EA or EVGo with a trailer.

Nice. At least there was no one else there. I don't tow anything yet but I'm hoping there are more pull thru stations if I start.
Yes, I will move for people if needed. Usually folks will just go around the trailer. I have been pushing for pull through chargers. It just makes more sense...it can accommodate trailer towing and multiple charge port locations.

Will be very confused how your trailer got there without a tow vehicle for sure.

As soon as the NACS network is opened, I totally plan to NOT wait for Rivian to fumble delivering adapters, as we know they will.

A2Z will be offering a NACS to CCS adapter well ahead of any OEM. The adapter looks very promising, and has a plethora of certification standards met for its applicability. It’s also been featured on the State of Charge, which also sets the tone for charging safety and reliability.

A2Z also mentioned something along the lines of white labeling for OEMs, who don’t wish to develop their own, but buy/license instead.

@SASSquatch so when should we plan on getting the beer you owe me?

(sorry all for the inside joke ? )
Sorry osheedee - the beer wasn't for when Hyundai joined the NACS bandwagon, it was for when in 2 years, there is (me) or isn't (you) a production vehicle with CCS charging.

See, all I need is one vehicle from any OEM to still be CCS and I win that beer.

And, given that 7 of the largest auto-manufacturers have announced they are building a huge 30,000 charger network of their own that will included CCS I am betting one of them is going to keep CCS on their vehicles even if there is a NACS port on there as well.

Sorry, Charlie.

See you in 2 years.
