I have used EVGO for the first time since the charger (ChargePoint charger was out of order) at the hotel.

I called the SC, they told me to hard reset the R1T, no fix. I waited 3hours & it seems to fix itself. The problem, for me, happens on long trips over 60 miles. I think Rivian needs to investigate further. .

I had my exchange student from 20 years ago in my R1T. I asked him if he was willing to launch. He said yes, we launched in Sport Mode. He wanted to do it again, so we did. He said, I didn’t know that EV’s had that much power & torque. I told him a Rivian 4 motor does!

You have pull the cord hard to get it out. If it breaks get another from Rivian!

I would recommend a Juice Box 40, not hard wired with a 14-50 plug. It locks to wall, you have a key. I have had one for 1 1/2 years, works flawlessly.

PG&E , in California, turns off your solar because of back feed! So it doesn’t make any difference if have solar or not.

My camp speaker unlatched when I first got the truck & paired. Since the OTA updates, I do not know which one, it doesn’t unlatch & can not get it out. I do not want to go to a SC just to get the thing to unlatch.

Silicone spay is recommended by Rivian techs. WD-40 is a dust catcher. I have a R1T with a motorized tonneau cover, works OK if I use silicone spay. I noticed if the R1T is out for an extended time in the hot sun, the tonneau cover sticks.

Has anyone had trouble getting their camp speaker unlatched? Rivian tech sent me unlatch instructions, but the instructions did not help.
