Report: Rivian discontinuing Compass Yellow, Vegan Leather and 20" Bright AT wheels

All Terrain Bright Wheels (no surprise there) and "leather" dash-board are on the chopping block also. Edit... I guess this is old news...

Compass Yellow was/is my favorite color. It's certainly the least boring, but that cuts both ways. On the one hand, it doesn't blend into all the other bland colors out there. On the other hand, it doesn't blend in and you lose all anonymity. Didn't help that it was in the most expensive color price tier.

I hope any new colors are vibrant like CY.

Some brands like Hyundai now offer only 4 shades like white, black, dark gray, and light gray. No colors at all.

I’ve only ever seen 2 compass yellow Rivians in my life, and one of them is in my drive way. Personally I like having a super rare truck (Rivian) and a super rare color (CY). I was nervous about going CY and almost didn't do it, but having it for ~6 months I honestly think CY+black wheels is the best color combo there is. While I think eliminating it is a mistake, I‘m kind of happy about it

I’m gonna miss the Canyon Yellow, it’s not my choice but I think it’s cool anyway…

Yes, we will now have two more shades of gray, creeping closer to fifty shades of gray.

yes they built some. there were some in the Shop not too long ago.

Taking a way an option or a model is a great way to create a demand for it. People always want what they can’t have.

so that’s the reason the 12v underdash disappeared!
