Swapped from 21in to 20in. So far really enjoying them. I wanted black from the start.
Info: R80B wheels 20in true beadlock from EV Sportline running BFG KO2 275/65/r20 (factory 20in equivalent)

Thanks! True beadlocks. Rivian is so capable not sure if I will need them. But I love the way they look. Just have to check the torque every rotation. Hoping these tires last longer than the stock 21in.

Very nice, this is the way. I have wheel shake above 70 that I didn't have with 21s but look way better for mall and local camping excursions. With my efficiency losses due to setup will go back 21s on long road trips.

Nice. Love the compass yellow. I am fortunate that I don’t have the shake mostly. It only gets noticeable on certain roads above 80mph otherwise smooth. There is also a noticeable difference at only around 55mph and only on certain roads. It is a bounciness feeling. They are definitely all terrain but are more comfortable 92% of the time. Cannot deny the efficiency loss. Haven’t been able to quantify yet though.

Looks awesome! As soon as we get our R1S, this is similar to what I want to do as well. I'm thinking about the R800 faux bead lock 8-spoke from 1EV. I think I want to do BFG KO2 as well (or the Falken Wildpeak AT/3W), but was thinking of slightly increasing the width & diameter by going with 285/65/R20 instead of the stock 275s. According to this awesome thread and chart by @Rexbo , I think that should work really well.

Additionally, I want to carry a external full-size spare for the R1S when off-roading. I was thinking about a hitch-mounted swing-arm spare carrier, like this one from DirtCom. I haven't seen any R1S examples with a rear-mounted spare yet. Has anyone tried this yet? Any data on the negatives relating to departure angles & efficiency?

A 285/65 would be a larger tire. There might be scrubbing concerns in certain instances. This is pretty tight fit it seems when in its lowest setting. Even wider tires also have likely worse economy with minimal impact on capability. Actually might be lesser surface area touching ground on fatter tires even at lower pressures.

Limestone looks so good with black wheels! I'd like a set of powder coated 21s.
That is an option but only one tire choice and quick wearing. I may loose some range, but if I can keep these tires for 50-60K miles, then highly worth it considering tires over $450 each for stock 21in.

You do realize you need to mount the tires in the beadlock ring for them to function right? And then they are no longer road legal. Real bead locks are overkill for the Rivian simply because it lacks lockers and other basic off road equipment like the ability to run 37s or take a winch, aftermarket bumpers, etc.
