The blue cord is my temporary idea for attaching the liner to the lower tailgate piece so it sticks up when closed. Last photo is taking the cord back off, and what it looks like if you just fold the extra piece back over rather than tucking it under.

Interesting, why did you install it upside down? Was it to keep the tie down hooks installed?

Is that upside down? Ha! Not on purpose! I thought it had to go that way to fit over the tie hooks, yeah. I was considering cutting a hole or slot in the liner so I could thread a strap through and access them. But maybe I'll remove the tie downs and flip it right side up.

Finally received my mats. Exactly one day after my R1S went into the shop.

Received the "YOUR ORDER IS ON THE WAY" on June 8th and am patiently waiting for the actual shipping confirmation. The R1S is fine in the summer with the Rivian mats.

Received yesterday and installed today. Look good and felt like they secured better than the rivian all weather mats.

Just got my rear cargo mat today. I just installed it and fits pretty well for the most part. Just need it to soften up in the heat so it fit nicely into all the crevices and grooves.

I don't care for the flip flop back tailgate part and wish there was some way to make it look/function better but it's better then nothing being back there.

I have the Rivian Yellow All Weather Mats, Weathertech upper frunk mat, LinerX rear cargo mat and BestEV lower frunk mat.

Does the lower tail gate mat actually stick up as shown when closed???

If so, is there any plan to make this into two-piece cargo mat so that the lower gate cover does not stick up like it shows? If its two-pieces, you can fix the end of the lower tail gate at the top and have the hinge cover part to slide under the floor mat - or something like it.

While appreciate having a single piece to go over the actual hinge and opening of the cargo floor and the lower gate, this is not workable from my perspective.
