Dear Rivian - you should be setting up shop in states that have adopted the Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Program. Those states are where OEMs have focused their initial EV sales footprint because there are buyers here that actually want EVs.

i took first drive at venice hub. we drove on busier streets and quiter streets. guide also took us on the marina fwy which included some very fast acceleration and performance opportunities. maybe it depends on your guide, but mine allowed full throttle, so to speak! love my Riv!

Venice is a cool hub, but that location is bizarre to me.

You're barely an hour longer drive away from Normal than we are in Atlanta! Nashville, OTOH...

Atlanta's a good market for one of these. You can't throw a rock in the northern suburbs without hitting a Tesla at this point. The other half of the cars are SUVs or trucks.

As a resident of Pasadena I really need a SC closer than El Segundo but if the hub had events and the like I wouldn’t hate that. Not opening something by the ocean finally shows Rivian doesn’t have their head completely up their butts about what driving in LA is like.

I thought that part was cool. But the location could be nicer. I suspect the Laguna location will get alot of the traffic that was going to Venice, like me, when in town.

Yeah, and that RAN site has some construction already. Don't know how much is done at this point, but it's for sure in the works and not just a long-term concept.

It's not even about the locals, it's a very touristy area and Rivian will get a lot of exposure to people from all over the world and backgrounds. I see it as a tactical advantage.

Right. I drove my rivian down lombard st in SF. The amount of tourist pointing and taking pictures at the rivian was ridiculous. Rivian is trying to make its name a comon name.

Right I understand. It's just a high end boutique. For the same price as that space they could rent out two SC somewhere else in the suburbs. And guess what, every SC can be a showroom.

It's just silly they are inviting all owners or reservation holders to this event. We couldn't care less about this.

I've heard a Burbank SC is in the works but who knows. I've also seen rumors of Oxnard / Thousand Oaks, but again, nothing concrete.
