Normally they are at the front of the space.
  2. “Refresh” prediction

Yes it was stated this is Peregrine and that is a cost reduction effort. Expect no new features.
  3. Rivian Plug & Charge on Supercharger vs Tesla Membership (Combine for Best of Both Worlds)

Tesla is nowhere near that cheap in the northeast. I have a Tesla and the cheapest I see these days is $.34. But often in the 0.40s and even 0.58 at peak times. I don't think you get plan pricing without using the app. Which I guess means you have to use the app before you plug in.
  4. “Refresh” prediction

Very doubtful. They already announced a timeline for NACS port change. I don't thing they are changing things on the fly, and this shutdown has been planned out for a long time.
  5. Picked up R1S 3/31/2024 - broke two blocks later followed by a catastrophic failure

I had a similar situation with my Tesla Model 3 in 2018. 15 minutes into my drive home, all kinds of errors. They needed to replace some computers and I didn't have my car for over a month. They fixed it and it has been fine for 6 years now. Once they fix it, you'll be alright and no reason to...

All parts can be refurbished and used on other warranty repairs. Or scrapped for some value. Warranty is to replace parts. Out of warranty, you buy new parts so can keep the old ones if you want.

They are improving manufacturing processes and design to lower costs. So unless the item on your list lowers the costs to manufacturer, then it won't happen. This is a cost reduction effort. No increased options. It's not a refresh.
  9. Out of Spec seemingly confirms R1 refresh in about a month

    I don't call a cost reduction a refresh.
  10. Ford "PRICE WAR" drives RIVN under $10

It also signals general weakness in sales in the EV truck segment.
  11. Ceramic tint the windshield?

Yes have it done at 70%. Yes it is illegal in most states. No one will bother you about it.
  12. Are all Tesla superchargers now available to Rivian or only specific ones?

  14. Let's talk Tesla Supercharger parking etiquette...

Actually that is the way Tesla said to park at the SCs. Park to the right.
  15. Video: How-to charge Rivian at Tesla Supercharger (by Out of Spec Kyle)

No they are not locked. You only need to use the Tesla app when using the membership.
  16. Indications of an R1 refresh

Using an adapter is not really even an annoyance. I wouldn't wait a year for that.
  17. Indications of an R1 refresh

Why add cost? I personally think they should not have that on the R2.
  18. R1S automatically parked during red light waits - how to disable?

Sounds like a seat sensor issue. It should never do this at a light and I have never seen it.
  19. Interesting interview with Ford CEO about how switch to NACS went down -- worth a listen

Intro (00:00:00) Ford CEO Jim Farley announced Ford's transition from the J1772 and CCS1 plugs to Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) or J3400 connector. This allows Ford vehicles access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network. Ford customers can now charge their F-150 Lightning...
