I asked CS last week, and they told me the GJ RAN station was activated. I was skeptical but it now shows up in the app. I would imagine it is good to go. Don't think I'll pass by it in the next couple weeks but if I do i'll definitely stop by. Definitely looking forward to an alternative to the Sam's Club EA that closes at like 6pm. 6 chargers, all list 300kW.

I literally checked the app less than an hour ago and it wasn't on there, so this must have JUST been updated. I LOVE this!

Anyone know if you can make it to Grand Junction on a single charge? ABRP is telling me no and that I have to stop at the EA in Edwards to charge for 15 minutes. Time for some MTB in Fruita!

Yes, my dad made it from Denver, R1T on the 21s in March. I was too chicken to give it a go on the 20s also in March but I think I could have made it no problem as long as I wasn't driving 80 (which I was).

I am 90% certain the truck can make it. I am 100% certain my bladder cannot. We typically stop in Edwards and charge while using the restroom and the 5 minutes has always been enough to give us the extra confidence getting to the GJ chargers. And sometimes we get a frosty at the Wendy's.....

Also killer flowers in fruita a few weeks ago. So pretty this time of year.

good point, stopping in Edwards for a quick break not a huge issue!

Dang, you can drive 80 without the wind noise from the roof glass making you feel you are standing on top of a 14teener? Anything above 70 and its pretty loud for me.

As much as it pains me to plug the guy, I thought Kyle posted a video of him driving his R1T from the EA charger in Lakewood to his hotel in Grand Junction in one stop. If I recall, he had like 26 miles left on the guess 'o meter. I can't remember what wheels he has on his truck, but I think if you keep the speed under control and you don't have the all terrain tires, you can just make it to GJ from Denver without stopping, if your bladder can.

I'm planning an August weekend in the CB/Gunnison area with my in-laws and was planning to stop at the RAN in Salida and grab dinner (don't worry, I'll move it when I hit 80%). My (EV wary) MIL asked if the Truck could make it all the way there. I've done a dozen road trips with my in-laws over the years and politely told her, the truck can make it without stopping.... but you can't. That woman could be dead asleep and still wake up just in time to remind me about every single one of her favorite rest stops between Denver and Boise, of which there are plenty.

The station is online, although one showed unavailable. The funky color lights on the pedestals are just from the camera, the offline pedestal was red. The two level 2 chargers are working as well and free (no account needed to activate for our I3). Someone just finished charging their R1T and said he was getting a good charging rate.

I don't get noise from the roof unless I have rails on it.

I get a bunch of wind noise above 70 mph it's almost like I have a sail hanging out of the bed of my truck ?

Assuming it was his personal truck (I can't recall the video) then he has the 22s, but he also had studded snows on over the winter. I'm in the camp where I'm probably stopping around Edwards for a bio break anyway, so not a big deal.
