Had my guide request shop access. Would be cool to snag a truck early and mix up the configuration a little.

It's funny the 2022 vs 2023 discussion in here. I can buy a 2023 vehicle right now from other brands. In fact most manufacturers start producing next model year vehicles in the fall of the prior year. In this case Manufacture date is most important and unless the "23" got a design update (like a better tonneau cover design) it's just psychology at work.

I selected an GW/OC w/20" AT's from the R1T Shop on November 14th. My exact configuration minus no spare or tonneau cover.

I was notified yesterday that the truck has arrived and the SC has completed the pre-delivery inspection. The expected 6-8 week wait turned out to be 3-weeks in my case.

I'm currently out of town so I scheduled pick up for next Saturday. After waiting nearly two years it's finally happening?

R1T's are still a rare sight on the roads here in car crazy So Cal.

I believe any shop trucks with the powered tonneau covers are going to be slightly older VIN numbers.

When shopping for mine they actually had a GW $71.5k base model with zero options. I had never seen one before.

I received shop access after requesting it (said in another thread, worth mentioning again -best guide ever!), but, interestingly enough, I didn't get an email. I was just doing my bi-hourly login and saw the banner.

For those who have shop access, did your estimated delivery also change to "Processing Estimate"? Trying to figure out if they're related or if I should be expecting good news in the near future.

There are 30+ trucks in the PNW shop! Of course nothing close to my config, but still pretty wild. It seems like they're having a hard time moving inventory. Hopefully not related to the recent slew of tech layoffs

It looks like the only options for tonneau are none or powered. Does anyone know if you can get the manual tonneau later if you choose "none"?
