Announcing our new "CLUBS" section where you can join or create a Rivian club or group! You can use this new feature to conveniently plan and discuss local events, gatherings or other club/group related topics.
So we encourage you to join (or start) special-interest and regional-based Rivian clubs at: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/group-categories/clubs-groups.1/
So if you select Sport mode with lowest ride height, shouldn't that "latch" (or persevere, if I'm understanding the word correctly) if you switch to All Purpose next? The ride height latching is a nice change, but... Until they add "Lowest" as an option for All Purpose, I guess we'll continue scooting around town in Sport mode.
I'm interpreting the change as Rivian is just waiting to change the suspension levels until you begin driving again so-as to be less noticeable.I’m just happy they’re tackling the auto-levelling issue head on rather than just the previously mentioned “incremental improvements with each OTA”
Why do you drive around in lowest? Man it's so uncomfortable hahaThe ride height latching is a nice change, but... Until they add "Lowest" as an option for All Purpose, I guess we'll continue scooting around town in Sport mode.
That could be some of it! I was more looking at the part where it said that "...reducing the frequency of suspension adjustments when the vehicle is at a stand still (4x reduction)"I'm interpreting the change as Rivian is just waiting to change the suspension levels until you begin driving again so-as to be less noticeable.
Since "Lowest" isn't even a selectable option in All Purpose, I'm doubtful this would work.So if you select Sport mode with lowest ride height, shouldn't that "latch" (or persevere, if I'm understanding the word correctly) if you switch to All Purpose next?
