Not bad! I imagine a Rivian announcement is coming ... soon :D.

Are you a chase banking customer? I have a couple of their credit cards but nothing on the banking side.

No banking, but have the Sapphire card. I have been looking at opening a decent size account with them to get some perks.

I wonder if Rivian will offer different rates through their portal?

A little expensive but I suspect that's chase's standard auto program and not the dedicated ones they have like for Land Rover, Jaguar, etc.

I'm not super familiar with how the dedicated programs work - my assumption was that if there is an agreement between manufacturer and bank, then it shouldn't matter which of those websites you access the deal from, you should get the same rate. Not accurate?

I hope so, Bank of America advertises new car loans at 2.39%

I am eligible for a .5% rate reduction, so 1.89% is not bad at all.

They kinda suck in the fact that if you put more down, and say finance 55k or so then the rate goes up to 3.04%. Sheesh seems like risking less would bring it down instead.

So according to Chase LE reservation holders are getting 2022 models? I figured they were 2021s...

FWIW the get rates information is simply a generic function, if you click on Land Rover you get the following (which has a dedicated program from chase).

Also those rates are for all Cars it seems more or less they don't have a dedicated program for yet (look up Cadillac)

We have a special financing relationship with Land Rover, so please check their rates and apply directly with them.

Maybe Chase won't lend to LE customers. They will wait to see if Rivian is a viable company.

You're right, I got the same 2.99% and 3.04% when I changed the vehicle to Acura. I suppose the actual Rivian Financial rate will be lower.

No, the manufacturer can subsidize the rates, or reduce the “profit” if desired.

For example: Chase runs the backend finance operations for Subaru, too.... And Subaru has offered 0% APR, at times.

Either way I have a backup plan in
Awesome news.

I’m going to go ahead and declare this the best post to date on this Forum, and probably any other.

It’s getting real....

See above haha, its a generic one for all cars, granted chase does recognize Rivian is real so that is a win.
