Coastal Cloud for me. I’m over dungeony interiorsPanel Gaps weren't an issue for car buyers before the internet came along to force-feed OCD. Sergio Scaglietti is rolling his eyes.
+ "The dark feels dungeony to me..." YMMV - I think light interiors feel like:
You get a Japan-made Toyota or Mazda if panel gaps and paint quality are important to you. They are obsessed with this stuff. However, I do agree that panel gaps have been blown out of proportion these days.
We have two Mazdas. The gaps aren't 100% better. You get a Japan-made Toyota or Mazda if panel gaps and paint quality are important to you. They are obsessed with this stuff.
I had a US-made Subaru some time ago, and it seemed like they didn't care about panel gaps and fitment at all. Not only were the gaps wide, but some were noticeably different in size from one side of the car to the other. I assume a lot of Japanese quality-control people committed harakiri when they saw it.
Are you new to the internet/YouTube?It seems like YouTubers have found a market by hyper analyzing anything and everything, ha!

It is a customer delivery, he thanked the guy that was there for bringing it in for him to do the video. This isn't even a customer delivery right? Specifically loaned as a press vehicle from R. So very likely it's been massaged QC-wise more than customer deliveries.
Some of the panel alignment stuff they might fix. Some of these you may never see as they dial in the factory or revise parts.I don’t understand the point of highlighting small build quality issues. What am I suppose to do with this information. Are these things that the SC can address or should address?
They most certainly were; just not for you.Panel Gaps weren't an issue for car buyers before the internet came along to force-feed OCD.
