wish there was more pics... hard to tell from this angle
Yeah, Thought the same. They only posted the one. The Hummer really doesn't look as gigantic next to the R1T as I was expecting.

Not a Rivian
This is from NACTOY event in Ann Arbor. They’re going through the contestants now to determine the finalists. I have heard rumors that the Hummer is not driveable.

UPDATE: Apparently that was just a rumor for the hummer was driveable. Shame, I was hoping it wasn’t so it would give Rivianan edge.

They didn't have anyone with camo cargo shorts on hand so they couldn't get past the anti-theft system.

I am also surprised at the apparent size comparison. Of course the angle could have some impact on the relative sizes, usually farther away looks smaller and the R1T does look smaller just not as much as I thought. I hope the rear steering on the Hummer is robust. With control being delegated to software, imagine the Wham Bam Teslacam footage if there is a glitch with GM's coding... Oops, Honda Bump.

Couple unrelated thoughts here;

1) What are those white "pillows" underneath the Hummer's rear suspension?
2) I'm a bit shocked by this comparison. I really thought the Hummer would be bigger. When details first started coming out, people were losing their shit over the weight of the Hummer. And fairly, because it's ridiculous. But looking at them side by side, I'm shocked that the Rivian is *only* 60% of the weight of the Hummer. And the Rivian is heavy enough as it is.
3) The more I see about the Hummer, the more I'm actually finding I kind of like it. I'm specifically intrigued by the SUV variant. It'll be a legitimately nice vehicle.
