White powder coated wheels - looking for feedback.

I recently acquired a set of 21-inch wheels and am preparing to swap my 20-inch AT’s for the summer. I intend to powder coat the 21-inch wheels. Initially, I had planned to go with gloss black, but I’m considering gloss white as well. I’ve created an AI image to visualize the look. I’m seeking general feedback and any other considerations regarding keeping the wheels clean. Has anyone else done this or seen it in real life?

I've thought about doing this with my 22"s...but I really want to do it with a set of dune 20" wheels for the rally car look.

If you aren't meticulous with cleaning and you drive a lot avoid white unless you like them with a rusty tinted look. My truck I have to iron decon a couple times a year to get rid of the rusty brake particles from the side of the truck, can only imagine how bad the wheels would get.

I think white wheels look best when paired with light colors such as light blue with a white top. I think the white top helps coordinate with the wheels so if you do it, maybe wrap your roof white?

Agree with this — also think the Dune wheels best lend themselves to being painted white. Add the white top and an expedition rack would complete the look! Good luck and keep us updated. MJP

Just my opinion, but I don’t think the white complements the color of the vehicle. I’d go with black…or perhaps a dark bronze.

I have the 22" darks on my Rivian Blue 2025 R1S and I badly want to just add Rivian Blue accents in the spokes. I like the white in your image, but it would be dirty often.

Not a fan from the pic, but could be one of those things that look better in person?

IMO it's so stark that it's a higher risk that you might not like it or it stands out too much, especially against a fairly muted Launch Green. How about color-matched to your paint, or the Quad bronze instead?

Not a fan of the white wheels in general. It will look dingy after period of time and will show dirt easily.

Given the green color, have you thought about bronx color wheels?

For the record, I’ve had white wheels in the past (on a Miata I used to own). I never had any issues keeping them clean. I think the “cleanliness/dinginess” will only occur if one doesn’t make the effort to simply keep their vehicle clean and maintained. It was a non-issue for me. But (respectfully) I still think white is not the right choice for the color of wheel for your truck.
