The real bidding starts tomorrow morning. Should see a flurry of action by midday.

I still think it gets over $150k but not by as much as I originally thought. I think other colors and wheels are more sought after plus now R1T prices have landed back down to earth and money is tighter than March.

We shall see though. ??

Just like the bidding wars on home sales, the general economic conditions and sentiment around them have curtailed people's willingness to bid up to buy a novel vehicle, I believe.

Unlike rare collectables (e.g., Ferrari Enzo or any with fewer than 400 made), R1S is just new. There will be thousands more within a year.

I think the current bid has pretty much reached its ceiling....

I would be surprised if no more bids. The first Hummer EV went up like 60k at the end. They extend the window for a minute after every bid once the time is up.

My guess is another 25k will be offered.

There probably will come in. The question was the amount and I do not believe another 25K, or near 150K sale price.

If I'm wrong, good for the person that sells it and for the buyer that found the value proposition worth that much.

There is probably a reserve. I'm guessing 145k for that, but we never know what it was, just what it wasn't.
