That's good to hear! Did you enjoy the drive without needing hands on? I imagine it a weird experience.

On the update note, my side mirrors do not tilt in reverse, so don't know if there is a setting for it, but couldn't find it on quick browse.

On the whole, it felt like I was another passenger instead of the driver. I usually switch off driving with my wife, but there was no point as the R1S did most of the driving.

My youtube streaming seemed a lot smoother today. Maybe just a placebo b/c of the reset.

The ability for the efficiency meter to finally go over 4 mi/kWh is welcome...

The tilting is off by default. Go to the settings, vehicle, access, where you select the horn sound, to turn it on.

The other interesting feature is the astronomical increase of my efficiency. I was usually getting around 2.15, just before the update and now 4+ for my local rides.

I will need to verify this over at least a week of driving. And yes weather, my driving and other factors impact the efficiency. But, I would be contento/happy if this is consistent.

I was backing out of the garage and was able to use the scroller on the right side of the steering wheel to change from garage to the tilted mirrors and return them to their original position.

Couldn’t tell you as I am still waiting on the update. I guess someone has to be last. This is why I never buy lottery tickets ?. I must say, I’ve enjoyed reading everyone else’s experience with the latest version ?

I change my wheels/tires. My drive tonight, 65 degrees, was like the most efficient drive I’ve ever had. And I have like the 2nd worst efficiency in the forum.

This is when you're at highway speeds, and you accelerate enough to trigger the rear motor to engage. It was a lot more of a rough thud feel. Now it's back to being more smooth again

Curious what max you saw, previously mine always capped at 4.01.

Gen 1 Performance DM, still experiencing the rear motor thunk at highway speeds. I’ll do a hard reset and see if it’s still present. Also had a mobile tech perform the rear motor calibration two weeks ago. I have a SC appointment still scheduled for May 1st just in case.

Re rear view side mirror tilting has anyone else experienced problems with the mirrors not returning to normal position if you change the setting with them in the “downward” position?
There are times when I like the mirrors tilted down when reversing and times when I need the normal, non tilted, view. When I try to change from “tilting” to non tilting they just freeze in the tilted mode and even when I put the R1 inPark or Drive they do not return to the normal setting.

I did the tire change (I have 22 sports with Defender LTX 119’s) and the only tires available are the stock ones. I mean it like maybe a total of like 5 legit tires we can use, why not have that available?
