Tiger stripes in hood paint

Hey @DaveA. The collision shop is close to my house and I stopped by this morning. Here are a couple of pics. I am glad they decided to give you a new truck. Looks like a lot of work being done. Not sure why the light bar on the left side of the truck was taken off. They also took off the rear passenger door. The second pic is funny. They are holding a paint swatch against the truck.

They are now working on the front @DaveA. I guess the good news is that this shop will have experience working on a Rivian, not that I want my car in the shop when I get it.

Thanks for the updated photo! Actually, that may be another forum members. He also had to get his hood painted. Mine (or was mine?) is back at the service center according to the app. I just received the email regarding my 8 steps for my new truck. Round 2…

This pic was taken last Saturday. I pass the collision shop on my way to get kiolbassa at https://www.kolacheshoppe.com/. They have the best kolache/kiolbassa in H-town and some really good coffee If you are ever in town.

Wait…you changed from LA Silver to Rivian Blue? Me too! Have you seen Rivian Blue in person? @Dreamwater was kind enough to bring his RB R1T to a meet up a couple of months ago and I was sold. To me, I feel like the pics make it look baby blue, which I don’t really like. It looks a lot better in person.

Ah, so yeah…so it could’ve been the artist formerly known as Tiger Stripe! .

I haven’t seen Rivian Blue it in person, but having seen so many photos in various lighting conditions, etc…I think I’m well prepared. .
