Yeah. My camp speaker was removed from my truck long ago. As this blinking issue is happening to so many, at roughly the same time, I figure it must be related to something Rivian sent out over the air. As such, they should be able to correct this issue the same way. If not rectified in short order, it will affect my travel and camping plans for the coming week or so 😔 I’m also concerned about any negative impact it may have on the infamous 12v battery longevity, even though mine is relatively new.
I had (still have and I must make those dates) a trip planned for Monday 21st until that saturday and I'm supposed to tow back a trailer with my other car back from MN... Hence why I was admitted to the SC in such a short notice.. I feel your pain1

I had an app update too but waited until the system update finished before I updated my android app. I'm waiting for them to call me to maybe troubleshoot it remotely but I'll probably have to use my appointment next week at the SC.

Still blinking, I thought it went away but it's still there unfortunately post system update. Grrr....
I had an app update too but waited until the system update finished before I updated my android app. I'm waiting for them to call me to maybe troubleshoot it remotely but I'll probably have to use my appointment next week at the SC.
Keep it plugged into an L2 in the meantime. Dallas SC believes it should be able to troubleshooted remotely but they will take care of that for me. My checkpoint with them is Thursday

Cool, didn't know that. I did a hard-reset last night but that obviously didn't help anything. Hoping someone will call today/tomorrow about my appointment and maybe help troubleshoot.

Well, the guy is also saying "the UI in my truck is slow", and that it's related to the USB flash drive (it's this one). I've never noticed that, prior to this battery issue. Still nada from Rivian about the other stuff. This is a little weird, like one of those dealer claims "it's not us, it's your aftermarket equipment". But I'll try testing without it if it's still blink-blink-blinking, after this...
I always forget about the little SD card plugged in. I unplugged everything and still no dice 😩

Same issue as everyone else, with a new issue today. Vehicle says it’s offline in app. Anyone else having the same concerns?
Mine said "No cloud connection" for like a hot second, right after seeing your post:

But that went away after closing and re-opening the app. No issues with the vehicle being offline.


12V battery replacement done. No further communication from Rivian about the issues in this thread. @RivianBro I showed the guy your comment and was like "look, here's someone in California reporting the exact same symptoms as me". They indicated it's been "escalated". I guess we'll see. Wondering if this is going to be one of those things that gets fixed silently? Without them communicating to anyone? šŸ˜’

On a lighter note, dude said how cold my AC is. Like, I know. I love my truck. I put it on fan speed "two dots" and my wife will be in the passenger seat under a blanket saying "get this off me". For all the people complaining about HVAC issues, I must've got the golden ticket on that one. Knock on wood it stays that way. 😊

Small update from my side, the Techs are working in my vehicle, found a few modules that weren't communicating properly BUT don't belive that caused it 'the issue', still diagnosing it and this was escalated earlier today.

I'm going back tomorrow to return a rental and get a loaner from Rivian and I will try to chat with the techs there. So far they have been AWESOME with me and this issue. Crossing fingers!

It’s getting worse, for me. This is starting to be very concerning, as it’s really messing with my summer plans. I’m attaching a few pix showing my extreme VD!

Two of these show useage over the last 24 hours. It shows a projected range loss of 15.5 miles/24 hours due to VD. Also note, the gap from 11:00 AM - 4:00 AM. This was when it was on the charger, so no loss during those 5 hours.

The other screen shot is from this afternoon for 1 hour between 2:05 and 3:05. VD was .3 kWh and .6 miles lost in just one hour. Yikes!

Yeah... Like I said, VD and 12v battery health were my only concerns... I don't care about the Christmas tree

Here you go guys. I got a good one for you. I'm looking down at my truck from the 6th floor of an office building right now. It's not asleep, it's awake. Blink-blink-blinking away. And people will probably still say "It's PaaK". šŸ˜’šŸ¤¦šŸ¤¦šŸ¤¦

FWIW, I called the main Rivian #, this morning. As always, the person was very helpful and took down all my info. Said he could schedule me at my SC in August. Well, that won’t work. I have since spoken to my service person at the closest SC, an hour away. They are always super cool and helpful. He said I wasn’t the only one he had talked to regarding this issue. However, he didn’t have any more info on what the problem was, where this all stood with Rivian or what I should be doing šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø His assumption was that this would all be resolved very soon. Oh, no. There’s that sOOn reference, again 😔 So, for the time being, I guess I will have to stay pretty close to home.

I just got a message through the app to call them. Just spoke with a rep (also very helpful). He hadn't heard of the issue, but as I'm talking to him I'm literally watching my truck out my 6th floor office window and it's just sitting down there blinking... and it is so annoying, LOL. šŸ˜† Anyhow, he's going to try to get me back in to the service center tomorrow or Thursday.

I feel like this is something that - once we can see the logs - it's probably going to be really easy to resolve. The truck *knows* why it's blinking. The truck *knows* why it's not going to sleep. And why it's doing all this other stuff. We just need to get it to the point where we can interface to get that info into a human-readable form. šŸ™ƒ
