Nice setup! I just caught a show called Mansion Global last night that featured the Raleigh area. Looks like a nice place to call home.

I was born there and developed land and built custom houses there for many years. It was in the top 10 of best places to live for many years and grew too fast. It got a bit too big with too much traffic for me. I like the peace and quiet out in the country where I can have my privacy but still get into the city quick (15 minutes to Winston Salem) which is about the size Raleigh was when I was younger.

I've never introduced myself. I'm an early member and obviously just lurk a lot since I old have 2 other posts. Also an early pre-order holder of an R1S, which means the promised delivery date of March-April really means about nothing to me except another chance of a missed deadline.

Hi, Robert here. The R1T will be a lot of firsts for me. First truck. First "nice" car. First electric vehicle. First performance vehicle.

Right now I have a 2008 Honda Fit that I bought during Cash for Clunkers and it just turned over 43,000 miles. Our other car is a 2018 Pacifica S that I bought used right before the supply chain issues drove up prices.

My expected delivery date is Oct-Dec 2022

Hello from the NCR. I've been lurking for a while and put down a pre-order despite having to pay the RJ tax after March 1st. Still worth it (to me). Anyway, Colorado born, been all over. Currently a government type in the NCR.

Ordered a Forrest Green R1T, large pack, quad motor and I'm pumped.

I’ve been on this forum for a long time and been following Rivian for years. Finally pre-ordered an RIS in October of 21. I also cancelled with the price increase, but reinstated immediately when RJ announced they would hold the price. I get to test drive with my neighbor who has an R1T reservation on April 12th, can’t wait to get a chance to experience it first hand!

Hi, I am from S. California and recently joined the Rivian forum. I am a newbie pre-order 03/15/22 and regretted procrastinating on placing a pre-order on 03/01 prior. Currently own a Tesla model 3 and 2006 RAM 1500 looking forward owning this awesome electric truck. Ordered a R1T Quad motor Adventure Pkg, Exterior GW and BM interior 21" wheels and large battery pack. Hoping for a late 2023 delivery but you never know. Really got interested in the truck when I saw a couple in the wild in the last 2 weeks (colors GW and RB). I think both were Adventure Pkg. Also have on reservation a Tesla CT and Chevy Silverado EV truck RST in the mix.

I'm driving an Outback as well. ? Husband ordered white exterior light interior and most of the options except the tent.
