Maybe this has been covered before but I swear I saw something a while back about Rivian doing something akin to what Ford does and allowing you to sync/add any charging accounts so you need only go the the Rivian app regardless of the charger you're using (assuming you have already setup an account and such) for billing and such.

Am I smoking crack? Do you need to have an app for every charger you might use? Are there plans to add this if it's not there already?

Rivian app supports chargepoint and EVGo (via chargepoint integration) charging straight from the app. That's it.

So it does... but not for EA

Wonder if more integrations are planned... hmmm

Thanks for the quick response

Is this akin to just plugging in at a chargepoint/EVgo station and just starting to charge (like tesla?)

No. You have to go into the Rivian app and initiate the charge first. Then you plug in.
