Just took delivery less than a week ago. Drove it on a highway yesterday and my R2 moves around a lot, like ping ponging between lane lines. It only happens going above 65+ on UHF.

I am not sure if it is a UHF issue or a high speed issue in general. I also have the high speed steering shimmy that @starbux pointed out on other platforms.

Anyone else experience something similar ?

Have steering wheel shake between 60-65mph when on UHF. Does not translate into wheels though and is not there when not on UHF. So far it’s been super stable at all speeds.
Also get the obnoxious ’take control of wheel’ nag non-stop above 60mph whenever hands are not on top half of steering wheel. hands placed anywhere else and the nag comes on almost immediately. No idea if this is related to UHF steering wheel shake and the steering wheel sensor.

OP what size rim did you go with? I have the 21's and no issue at all I average above 65 on highway, use UHF for 46 miles each day.
What mode are you driving in? Ours is rock solid in all purpose and conserve.

I took it up to 95 last week on an open stretch of highway just to test it in all purpose last week, was super smooth and steady. I had it on I10 in CA a couple of weeks ago using UHF in conserve set to 72 for about 40 miles and it was pretty solid.

I’m also on the 21s, you may try getting some video of the complaint and open a service request. Does not seem normal to me.

I’m not understanding. You have universal hands-free enabled and something is warning you to put your hands back on the wheel during universal hands-free?

Are you sure you have UHF enabled or just regular cruise control?

This is with UHF off. Seems like it could be related to the UHF steering wheel shaking at highway speeds. Computer doesn’t know what steering wheel is doing/searching for center
in both scenarios.

That’s typically the speed where a tire balance issue would appear.

That sounds like Lane Keep. I believe Lane Centering only works with UHF enabled.

Same in AP mode and no issues.
