June 2022 delivery and I now have 26,000 trouble-free miles. This includes a 1,000 mile round trip from Bend to Vancouver Island (towing my 30’ Airstream) and a 3,100 mile round trip to Phoenix this past Thanksgiving.

My only Rivian related complaint has been with the power tonneau cover. My biggest complaint concerns the EA charging network but the RAN has been bulletproof.

My R1T has been perfect since delivery in Jan.

I'm not happy with vampire Drain, but that's not a vehicle defect and I may have a work around for that anyway.
Interested to hear your work around.

I received the part I needed yesterday, now I just need time to install it. Was planning on this weekend, but the driver side door handle on my daughter's i3 fell off (yes, I know.. don't laugh) and it's not a simple fix. I will be working on that Sat unfortunately instead of my Rivian pet project.

I'll post my "fix" in a new thread if it works out satisfactorily once installed.

I honky had panel fitment, alignment and minor interior rattling. All have been addressed. No mechanical or electrical issues for me. Only have 1500 miles though. Crossing fingers!

Thanks. Good luck with the i3! I'm interested because I'm getting my R1S soon and will be using it at high elevation in Colorado. Anxious about the vampire.

I've had my R1T since March 2022, VIN 29XX and I have put 42k miles on it. I have definitely had my issues (rear drive unit replacement, AXM replacement, steering rack replacement) but I would do it all over again every time. This is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned and I will never want to get anything else. Already figuring out how my wife can get into an S or R2.

I'm at 17 months and 16k miles and have little to no complaint either. My powered tonneau still works (knocks on wood). Vampire drain has improved from the first few months I had it. I recently went on a 15 day trip and left it unplugged at home and it lost 2 miles per day in 30-40 degree weather. I used to lose 3-4 a day so it has gotten better and of course I'd like it to be even better like we all do.

I still tell people who ask that it's the best vehicle I've ever driven and certainly the most fun I've ever had driving. My only issue so far is probably my own fault. When winter showed up I forgot to fill the tires again and had a blowout on the highway after stomping on the pedal while changing lanes. I think I put too much pressure on an underinflated tire. I do have little creaks and sounds here and there but it's not a deal breaker. The truck has worked extremely well.

Thanks for starting this thread. I think we do tend to focus more on the bad than the good (for good reasons because we should all get properly working vehicles). Glad to hear others have had good experiences like me.

R1T quad. 15 months. 33,000 miles. Zero issues. Two multi state road trips. Love it. Will buy another when the time comes.

August 2023 delivery. Blue R1T. This is the best vehicle I’ve owned by a far margin.
Only issues are my Bluetooth connection sounds robotic to people I’m trying to call from the truck- needs a service to fix and my windshield wipers hit the pillar when it’s raining really hard, need to be adjusted down a little bit. Otherwise not a single issue in 5k miles. I have an apportionment next week at the SC for these issues and the battery cooling recall. Curious to see how the service center appointment goes for us… I’ve read horror stories from folks dealing with their centers for repairs.

I haven't had any *unaddressed* problems in my R1T LE.. just a few minor addressed issue:

* New front drive unit after ~21k miles. (minor, *snorts*)
* Fixed driver door seal
* Fixed passenger door molding
* Fixed half-shaft bolts
* Fixed seat belt pre-tensioner recall
* Fixed gear tunnel storage compartment door (kept popping open)

Then again, vin 7xx

received our quad R1S 4 Aug and have 3k miles on it and am extremely happy with it. done a number of 3+ hour trips across the PNW without issues. i did have to file a service ticket for some build quality issues (panel alignment, door/other seals, window couldn't roll down) the day of delivery and service came ~six weeks later, but this was all minor stuff.

we couldn't love the vehicle, brand, and service more and are excited to replace our 2020 outback with an R2 in 2026.

I have never had anything that left me stranded, or even mildly inconvenienced. Love my truck. Would buy another tomorrow, but we’re holding off for the R2.
In exactly same boat, 30,000 miles - no issues with R1T - holding out to add an R2 for my wife.

20k miles here as well and I've only had the recalls and recently a piece of molding come loose. All able to be fixed by mobile service.

March 2023, xx0044xx, R1S, 11,000 miles

Only minor issues that stellar N. Las Vegas SC has handled quickly.

Love the reactions when the stock R1 holds its own against the (lightly) modded Jeeps and Tacos.

Recommend to anyone looking for capable off-road vehicle that switches to efficient mall crawler with touch of a button!

About 3 months and 2.5k miles without any issues to report of. My "problem" seems to be that my hearing is too good because I swear I hear wind noise on the passenger side. Driving with the windows down seems to help.
