Outlet timer?

I am getting ready for my first camping excursion in the R1T. I was looking at camp mode on my truck and noticed that when I turn the outlets on, they will time out and turn off after 24 hours. Is this a setting that can be bypassed? I'd like the outlets to stay on until I decide to turn them back off, but not sure if there's a setting for that.

I haven’t seen one. You can reset the timer any time you want. If you’re going to be in one spot for 24 hours you’ll likely open up the truck at some point so it won’t be hard.

It would have been convenient if they had included an on/off button in the truck bed near the outlets... just my $0.02.

I haven’t seen one. You can reset the timer any time you want. If you’re going to be in one spot for 24 hours you’ll likely open up the truck at some point so it won’t be hard.

So if you open the doors of the truck the timer will reset to 24 hours and start the countdown all over? Just trying to understand how it all works. Thanks.

My experience has been that you have to "open the door of the truck" to access the setting menu on the display screen to reset the 120V outlet timer. Not a big deal, but you do have to remember to do it or your power will shut off.

I’m curious about this too. By leaving them on with no timeout, does it add to parasitic drain due to lack of inverter efficiency even if there’s no draw? If so then I can see this as a protection mechanism against forgetting they’re on and contributing to range loss.

That's my understanding but I imagine the drain is extremely minimal. Probably more noticeable if left on overnight and will add to some vampire drain. When I use my cooler I have never noticed any drain or reduced range. The power in use is so minimal in comparison to what is required while driving. I like the on/off on the screen. I use ski boot dryer/heaters and turn them on 30 minutes before ski area arrival.

This could also be solved with a on-screen or app reminder to turn them off
