Next order update - End of April 2023?

Is everyone expecting Rivian to provide an updated Estimate Delivery by May 1st?

I'm hoping for early access to the R1S shop though.

Not sure what to make of your poll.

I do expect an update on delivery times end of April as that is Rivian's announced time line.

However, I voted no on the poll as after three delays in estimated delivery I am very hopeful there won't be a fourth. I think maybe time frame I've already been provided might be narrowed some and in a fantasy world maybe even bumped up a month or two.

As with most things with Rivian, best to temper your expectations during the waiting period. I have a Oct '21 order and Q4 '23 delivery window so I'm hopeful it will stay that way. Getting shop access early seems like a crapshoot and more to do with who on the inside is advocating for you. Every time I ask for access, they tell me only 18/19 preorder holders are getting it when in fact 20/21 have gotten access. Have you gotten a guide yet?

I am completely lost on this entire topic. I had April-May, then got Shop access on 03/02, then lost shop access on 03/15, my estimate went to "Processing Estimate" and I have heard nothing since. My guide is trying to keep me positive but she doesn't know either.

Didn't they do the last updates at the beginning of Oct and Jan? I thought they'd have done the update by now. But, I didn't make any changes this time. I'm still thinking they should be updating delivery estimates based on actual data. And I'm waiting for dual motor. So, they should have a lot better information now.

Emails for my last two delivery estimates were received October 28, 2022 at 3:30 pm and January 31, 2023 at 8:30 pm.

Whoops. My bad! Thanks for the clarification. I didn't remember getting an email about it, or I would have checked that way. Hopefully they'll have an update about the dual motor by then.

I expect the same "Processing" since I live in North Carolina and am locked in to the old cheaper price. There is no reason for Rivian to give AF or to even give me a straight answer on weather I should change my address
