I took shipment of my R1T in February of 2023. When Rivian asked to opt in for the free NACS Adapter (late March), I responded immediately. I am doing a bunch of travel in August and am counting on having that option. The fact that Rivian support has ZERO clue as to where I sit in the queue is maddening. Rather not but an aftermarket adapter but with a shipment estimate I could at least make an informed decision.
I just got my email today asking me to provide an address to ship my NACS adapter. Just to give you an idea of how far behind they are, I took possession of my R1T in June 2022. My serial is in the ......7400 range.

To be honest I like the addition of the SuperCharger network but I don't see it as a necessity. I drove from Seattle to Halifax, Canada and back last year. A total of 8,000 miles round trip. I only really ran into problems charging in Boise, ID where they had very few choices at the time so a SuperCharger would have come in handy.

A) I took delivery of an Ioniq 5 in February of 2022. According to Hyundai, access to Superchargers is planned for Q1 2025. And "Hyundai will offer an adapter" ... but not gratis, as far as I know.
B) Be thankful that Rivians are currently allowed to use (some) superchargers, even if you have to spend a couple hundred bucks for a 3rd party adapter to complete the puzzle. Now (in my Rivian, but not in my Ioniq 5) I can take some trips in "fly over" states that were previously impossible.
C) If you're worried about warranty issues with 3rd party adapters, watch the forums for posts about Rivians that were harmed by 3rd party adapters. Then assess your risk accordingly.
I thought people were already using Kia/Hyundais with the Tesla app and an adapter. Maybe it was only magic dock locations but I thought someone did it on a regular v3.

Agree - we just got back from a 3200mi camping road trip to, through, and around the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Yoho, Jasper, Kootenay National Parks) pulling our R-Pod and not once needed anything other than native CCS. Fun trip and the couple of times I spied nearby Superchargers was so glad I hadn't considered planning a trip counting on them! They are not setup for towing at all where as most CCS we encountered were extremely tow friendly. Looking forward to our big transcontinental trip next year.

Hyundai I5's can definitely charge at Magic Dock locations (Illinois has 1 at the southern tip of the state) using the Tesla app. If it's also possible with an A2Z adapter, then I obviously haven't been paying attention. Tesla's website says that (to date) Ford and Rivian are the only non-Teslas that can charge at NACS superchargers (with adapters).

Even A2Z adapters ship very slowly. I ordered one and after 2 weeks of nothing, I canceled.

If you need one immediately, buy a secondhand one on FB Marketplace from an individual owner.

Lectron claims they ship in 1-2 days from order. What they really mean is they print and scan USPS the shipping label within 2 days of order, sit on it for 3+ weeks, then hand it over to the USPS. They insist their "logistics partner" has them in stock and is shipping as orders come in.

You can simply block 6 stalls like the Ford Lighnting with a trailer did in OKC this weekend. There we a few not so happy people. I was happy to get the far right spot to not take up any additional spaces. Once he left all 12 chargers were in use.

I have an online business....yup, that's a trick to game the Google algorithm for fulfillment.
