Hey Doug - I have a somewhat heated garage at my home such that the air temp in the garage is about 50F no matter how cold it is outside. Do you think that would be fairly helpful from a range degradation perspective when the tems are below 20 (I'm referencing your comment that it takes about 150 miles of range to drive 100 miles). My thought is that the very dense heavy battery pack would take a little while to cool down to the Outside ambient temp of 20. Such that it may help me for daily driving. Of course if I park somewhere for a while - any warming is lost.I have had mine about 3 weeks now. At around 20 decrees it takes half again the range to get places. So 100 miles takes 150 in range. I have not driven it much in subzero yet. I have not received the update yet so have not tried snow mode yet. I think it is coming out is stages. Also living in outstate I have hesitated to take it very far in the winter with the charging horror stories and simply the lack of chargers.
Maybe the battery pack is already warmed somewhat via pre-conditioning prior to leaving your garage yet still plugged in (not sure if this is a feature yet or not).
