It just dawned on me why Rivian has been keeping Limestone a secret for so long. Based on this "spy shot", they've obviously been collaborating with PAAS on the color and are planning for an Easter reveal!

Based on the white & launch green in those photos, I feel like the corrected photo is significantly closer to an accurate representation. I've seen both of those, and I'd describe the white as "warm white", and I'd describe the launch green as "muddy army green".

Even the sliver of Rivian blue looks more accurate in that photo, it has a turquoise aspect to it.

My guess is the phone camera auto white-balanced because it was a particularly yellow day, and took out a lot of the natural yellow. It also looks slightly more saturated.

I think it's wrong. Look at the surrounding whites that should be white that are now more red. You're making it less real.

I'll go take some pictures right now if it's still out there. But my camera phone is a Google Pixel 6 Pro, which unfortunately lacks a manual mode. Hopefully the auto HDR doesn't mess it up too bad.

Does seem like another miss from Rivian if one really exists and we have all been asking for it send it to the Venice location so we can go look at it and everyone can take pictures. Or send out some communication with it in a couple different lighting situations people are locking in their configurations right now and we still don't really know what one of the colors really looks like.

This picture was taken under a solid blue sky (look at the window reflection). Given the purported neutral color that limestone is, I would bet that the blue tint displayed in the photo is partially caused by the bright blue sky above.

@cjones1130 Did you see this in person or are you reposting?
Seems odd to me that there is no commentary from the person that took the photo on what they saw and what the camera portrays.

Thanks @Attesan997 for sharing the Reddit thread, that is a much more reasonable take on the color IMO as I highly doubt the representation of the OP image is accurate.

You can at least manually adjust white balance, just tap the viewfinder, and on the left should be a white balance slider, if it's not on enable it in camera settings

In person at a launch event, the color balanced picture seems pretty accurate to me.
