Gives me woodstove vibes. Curious how warm it'll end up being.

Also curious about if you feel the 21s with aero covers are worth it for the range. I have 20s and may go for more of an all season when mine need replaced.

The ceiling panel is insulated and they have plans to offer a snap in insulation kit before next winter.

Is this hard-sided? There are some locations you can't camp at with a soft-sided tent, would this qualify?
Is the RuffRax roof rack required or just there to show that it's compatible?

I will follow up on efficiency. He estimated 370lbs. They are just barn doors in the back, they easily come off as well they have a couple options available. I think they start around $10k but with all the bells and whistles I paid around $14k.

The sides are mostly hard with a hinge in the middle, not sure if it would qualify as hard sided. The roof rack was an aesthetic choice on my end.

This must be a special order. The Oru site does not have an option for the Rivian sized bed. Putting Rivian on the side makes it look like it is endorsed by Rivian. I kind of doubt that. I do wonder about weight and suggest that anyone interested check their load sticker, add up the weight of the add-ons, and then figure the weight of the people, pets, food, etc. that will be carried. When you hit the sticker limit, you should figure that you are done.

Here's my sticker:
Rivian R1T R1S JJ’s Overland R1T Build V2 w/ Pop Top Camper Shell (Oru Designs) 1680722001165

underbody shield, 22" tires, full spare.

If the unit and rack weigh 400 lbs, that would give me 987 lbs to play with. That might seem like a lot, but add up the people, clothing, food, water, cooking gear, etc. and things can get a bit tight. Weigh everything and see if it works for you.

LOL.. Yes every camper they build is built to order.

Not sure why you feel the need to give us a PSA about weight, honestly it’s rediculous:

a. Anyone doing an overland build is keeping track of every accessory they add
b. Literally thousands of people with mid-size trucks add these types of campers to their trucks every year and a Tacoma or other trucks in this class don’t have any more payload than a Rivian.

I'll get this one out of the way. I'm very concerned;)
