Just joined the party last week. Truck arrived 6 weeks early! Coming from a 2006 Ridgeline (215k miles!), some of the marquee features (in-bed trunk, drain plug in trunk, center console storage, below-dash storage) were kinda passe' (much to the surprise of my field rep. I think he was expecting more of a WOW reaction or something...haha), but the drive experience is something else. It's like if my wife's MINI and my Ridgeline had a baby, this would be it. The acceleration difference between the Rivian and RL is beyond night and day.
Bummed that my model doesn't have the front dash 12V or auto-tonneau, and would've loved it if the rear window opened like the RL. Also wish they'd implement USB-read capabilities. I'm not a fan of streaming and prefer to listen to my own mixes (former DJ). That said, BT works just fine with my old iPhone-as-an-iPod (iPhone 4), and despite being bluetooth, still sounds better than my RL or MINI.
PPF'd the front via Rivian, then added TWraps PPF to the rockers and rear tailgate, the latter of which will get a lot of handling. I started PPF'ing the gear tunnel until I realized it was already covered. Oops. Final step is to get my charger installed, then I'll be officially entrenched within the new driving paradigm.
Thanks to everyone on the forums - I spent the last year researching researching researching, and this site was extremely helpful.
