it seem like that Rivian has been stuck in 50K for couple of months. Slowdown in sales perhaps. The referral program is also another sign of demand slowdown.

The question is how many people want $85K+ SUEV are out there still...

I’m picking up my PDM Large mid-55XXX tomorrow. I’m hoping I still get the 3rd row storage cubbies. Kicking myself for not spring for a Max, but hopefully I never miss it.

Our tri max has had a vin assigned for a few weeks now. We're at the late 59XXX so I'm very positive 60XXX was started last week at the latest.

My understanding is that R1T and R1S each have their own VIN sequences, @Tejkalra.

More R1T's than R1S's were built early. More R1S's than R1T''s have been built in recent years.

I'm not surprised that R1S's VIN numbers have now far surpassed R1T's.

Does VIN last 5 number changes every year. Means that do they start with 00000 or 00001 every year. Because r1s vin is around 50000 and r1t is around 38000 so total is only around 90000 plus 20000 of vans. That's like around 100000 only so far.

R1S is over 60k now. They briefly reset the number to zero when they started the 2023 model but set it back. Rumor was they had an issue with an internal system that was only looking at model and serial number and not the year code. Since then they have not reset.
