I was able to get some brand new 20" at wheels... just waiting on tpms from rivian to put on tires... gonna go with 275/60/20 continental terraincobtact ht 115h tires.

Hopefully that works out well but weird that they have 2 loads 115h and 115t in that size both sl rated yet the 115h can go to 51psi and 115t only does 44psi.

Edit: I have now decided to put on the pirelli scorpion all season plus 3 as I have now confirmed the Max tire pressure is 51 PSI

Also my truck originally came with 21s so I will not need a calibration of my speedo

H and T are speed ratings.

H is 130mph which is the same rating as OEM.

you want that one.

I'd rather the one that has proper pressure ratings. Which is the same tire.

Right but every sl tire I've seen seems to have a max pressure of 44psi and only the xls I've seen were able to get up to 51psi but I guess I was wrong.

Also the other dilemma I was having was choosing the right tire which I decided I was going to go with the pirelli scorpion as plus 3 but when I called pirelli they told me the sites info was wrong and max pressure was 44psi on those.

Well I went to discount tire where I had some ordered just now and it actually does say max pressure off 51psi so instead of the continental I'm going with the pirelli as those had better reviews especially for comfort.

Either way I'm pretty excited to try out a highway tire on the 20s to see if they get the same or possibly more miles that the 21s. The 20s are lighter and the pirelli tires only weigh 38 lbs vs 48 lbs on the a/ts

Nice find. Please report back on the efficiency of this setup vs whatever you have on it now.

Unfortunately I can't find the same 116h in this size in a highway tire but it shouldn't make a huge difference...a rivian tech even said that if it was his truck he wouldn't hesitate to put that tire on the truck.

Plus I'm not really going to type anything and most of my driving is highway and putting around the city

Also very interested in any updates you have on this setup. I plan on going this exact route (when I get my truck).

Just retired!!
Yes, also very interested what numbers you see!
Our R1T is due next month (oh boy!!) and we went with 20's for the weight, strength, and diameter of the wheels more than the off-road aspect...though I'd love to have a road AND off-road set ideally.

If it's not rude to ask, where did you source the wheels?

Watching this thread. Would be very interested to see efficiency ratings on the new setup.

What do you have now, what is your efficiency?
Where are you in Va?
What are you doing with what you pulled off?
You're doing EXACTLY what I want to do as spare set - congrats I envy you!

Looks like the tire weight will be alot less as from what I can find the OEM tire is 57lbs and OPs tire choice is 42-44lbs?

Is that right?

Please keep us updated, I’d change to 20s from 22s if discount tires willing to install them.

The 38 lbs Scorpion AS+ 3 sounds like a good choice. Did you also consider the slightly heavier (42 lbs) Michelin Defender LTX M/S? I think the Pirelli is better in terms of comfort while the Michelin probably has the edge in snow traction. I'm wondering which one has the better rolling resistance.

Did you buy these directly from Rivian? Thought they sold them with tires?

Inquiring minds need to know!

I only see wheels with tires in the gear store.
