Man, you all are hard to please! The rear display features were mentioned multiple times during the latest Rivian Responds, yet many here are complaining that this month's progress either wasn't enough or that they changed the rear display at all!

I think interest rates are really affecting the medium luxury products like these both directly and indirectly. The target demographic just isn't looking to buy an expensive vehicle at this point for various reasons. Maybe they are being forced to move and have to accept a much higher house payment.

Anyone notice changes to maneuverability at lower speeds? Is that just referring to the throttle mapping or was it actual changes to the steering?

You mention not having off street parking. Where do you charge?

Is that 1.9 mi/kwhr an average of road trips or just day to day driving? In cold weather, short trips will typically be less efficient because the battery and cabin heating are a more significant portion of the energy use. I also assume you aren't running in conserve mode around town?

Alternatively you could have a mapping system that accurately takes those factors into account. Reserving a significant portion of the battery just for HVAC use is a very costly way to solve that issue.

This would only encourage more confusion than there already is. People already think that you cant ever charge above 80% which just isn't true. Charging to 100% for a road trip every so often is not going to have a significant effect on the battery and the vast majority of people don't get...

Tire wear isn't a problem as long as you rotate your tires every 6k miles. Go for it. Conserve mode makes a big difference in range.

I'm on the 20" wheels with stock tires. In the summer on a road trip it is not difficult for me to get above 300 miles of range in conserve mode. Round trip from Hood River to Bend, OR I got up to 350 miles on a charge before they increased the usable capacity. Granted the speed limits on that...

Have you checked your tire pressures at low temperatures? On a road trip with a warm battery I consistently get at least 275 miles of range even at 20F.

I am sure it is just reduced steering weight at low speeds.
