I had a 98 Subaru Legacy wagon with air suspension that was cushy at all speeds. However, the lean through tight corners was hilariously large.

the R1S leans very little for a tall vehicle.

I am also leasing and have had a different experience. I found that getting the lease started was easy and painless, the website walked me through the steps fairly quickly and they only requested that you have current insurance (I provided the PoI from my previous vehicle). I think their terms are very good, but only if you intend to buy at the end of the three years. I will always appreciate not having to deal with a car dealership. Where I ran into challenges was the quality of the truck, delivered with a large scratch and had multiple significant failures within the first week. I had to fight to get it into a SC and haven't seen it for two weeks.

98 probably had thick tires with lower tire pressures. It helps a lot. If I ignore the mild rumble, the 20s have better ride than my 21s on all surfaces.

For those that have taken leases, how were you given your Chase account details to manage payments? It's been a bit over a week since delivery and I haven't gotten anything in the mail or email from Chase or even know when my monthly payment due date is.

I did just reach out to my guide as well, but seems odd that they didn't provide this information at pickup or shortly after so that I could get setup with managing payments each month.

Anyone else have squeeking noises over speed bumps or other road imperfections? I as told it’s the bushings and that it comes with off road capability but don’t remember hearing similar noises in Jeeps or other off road capabilities vehicles.

Yeah. I definitely hear squeaks when going over bumps at slower speeds.

Yes. I notice it from the rear passenger door more in the mornings when the temps are colder but it's starting to get on my nerves. Even with music on it's annoying

I have a credit card with Chase so the Rivian account was automatically linked. The only way I know this is I logged in to pay my credit card and saw it.

The same night, I received a paper bill in the mail for the payment. You can also call the number at Chase if you are a Rivian lease customer. Let me know if you need it.

For timing, my payment is on the 14th and I received the first paper bill earlier this week.

I'm learning more about charging and all of the factors that play into it. For example, at 8:30 this morning I hooked up to a 350 kw EVgo station but the max was btwn 24-28 kwh. The air temps were 34 and the station had not been used since the prior night.

I went back this afternoon at 1:30, hooked up to the same station, and it was humming. Hit the 210-220 kwh for a while but most of the time was above 100kwh. 40 minute session, 84.1640 kwh. Air temps were high 40s and it was sunny. Started at 23-25% and ended at 83%

Still trying to figure out what the range displayed will actually get me. For being on the safe side, I'm assuming 50% of it will cover actual driving mileage.

Thanks! I actually reached out to Rivian and then the Rivian Financial Services / Chase number and my details haven't yet been loaded into their system. Apparently this can take up to two weeks (which is today). Will try again early next week, but they mentioned my first payment wouldn't be due for 45 days from delivery. Does that align with your due date? Seems potentially sooner if your first payment is that soon after getting your first bill.
