I'm pretty sure it has to do with keeping the same process for everyone and not being allowed to sell something financed that they can't deliver.
Hey! Where are your delivery pictures?! You holding out on us?!

Edit: it's after midnight. I'm an idiot.

Congrats! Do you have a front plate since you’re in California (like I am)?

Congrats - love the wheels. I am in SoCal as well. Glad to see more non-employee trucks on the roads. Happy for you!

appreciate any photos you can post with variation in daylight, twilight, dusk etc to better appreciate the variation in L.G. paint shade.

Just curious, where in Socal are you ? I've been switching back and forth between LG and GW a million times. I just haven't seen the LG in person . . . . .

JDMD congrats! Any chance you are willing to quote insurance rates for your R1T? I am on the east coast so the rate probably won't translate all the way out here but I am worried that insurance companies might treat the R1T like a Tesla and quote sky high insurance rates.

Also: did your R1T come with the latest software update with birds eye camera view? Can you describe the quality of the camera video?

Finally - can you comment on driver visibility looking out of the windshield? Can you see the hood in your field of view? I've gotten very used to the large windshield and curvature of the hood on our C-MAX where the visibility is spectacular. It's just a hatchback but you feel like you are driving a bus!

Thank you in advance and enjoy the hell out of that truck for the rest of us.

I can't speak for @JDMD but here are my data points:
~$94/month. State Farm, OEM replacement.
2022.7 was installed, and Birds-eye is fantastic!
I can certainly see the hood while driving. Visibility is great for a truck, but will not be as good as your C-Max for sure. The cameras help, but I have noticed that objects fall out of view when close, well before you would hit them (like 1-2 ft.). Sonar seems more useful in those situations to me.

Godfodder, thanks for the data points! Is the $94 per month for more than 1 driver and is that for full or limited tort?

May I ask how tall you are and how you find the drivers seat comfort? I'm a 6'5 Sasquatch so I'm looking for my fellow Sasquatch brethren who are taking deliveries to give me the inside scoop on legroom, seat comfort.

Two drivers, full coverage. I'm 6'2" and I raise the seat a bit. My wife, 5'2", can raise it so high her feet can't touch the floorboard... Lots of adjustability! The most comfortable seats I've ever owned.
