Has anyone ordered a spare after taking delivery?

Has anyone ordered a spare tire after taking delivery of their Rivian? What was the cost? Curious to know what it runs before calling Rivian.

You likely can’t, they aren’t selling the spare or spare kit separately. I tried multiple times and customer service wouldn’t budge on it. Ended up ordering a set of four and splitting them up with other guys.

I’ve seen posts about people ordering them from the service centers. Cost was about $1350. Allegedly, they’re coming to the gear shop and will return to the previous price of $800. So we’ll see.

If you’re getting a spare kit thru the SC, someone’s doing you a favor. They’re not available and not an “accessory” in my humble opinion. Just sell the the donut (R1S). I can source everything else.

If you’re using it for just a spare, buy a different wheel and a tire of the same overall height. Some people have purchased the Dodge 2363 wheel and I assume the same size tire if you have 20s, or 275/60/20 if you have 21s

I have pressed numerous employees at my SC regarding ordering a spare tire. They all promised me it’s coming in early 2023 due to overwhelming demand from new owners.
