Congrats! When were you assigned a guide?
Just last Friday (the 18th) my configurator was locked. By the end of the day I had received an email to set up the phone call for today.

Just got off the initial phone with our guide. Couldn't have been nicer.

Our build is on the production line and we should expect near the end of the month, which is surprising given that we are in Charleston, SC.

As other have stated, we were given the opportunity to change interior color back to OC and not receive a firm delivery window or stick with BM and have it extremely early in our April/May window.

Arrived at 90% charge but topping off to take a long first drive tonight ? very excited.

I'm shocked and happily surprised Rivian made the March delivery timeframe. Really thought I'd be waiting still. Delivery was smooth and easy. I'll probably spend the rest of the day playing around and learning the truck.

Quick question for those who have run the 8 step gauntlet. For financing, I am using a Credit Union that will only mail the check to my home via USPS with no check image or tracking number.

In the checklist that Rivian sent out it reads:

1647883577675.png

but in the documents upload section it only has a spot to upload the check photo and enter tracking number. I'll have check in hand at delivery so those don't really apply and there is no where to upload the loan approval document.

I've reached out to my guide but haven't heard back from him yet and just curious if anyone else has dealt with this or if this is going to hold up the process.
I’d just pick up the check from the CU and overnight it to rivian myself if I was you.

Not quite as exciting as a vehicle delivery but my wall charger arrived today! Should have the matching vehicle tomorrow!
I'm curious, did yours come with the screws? Mine didn't but i had some anyway.

Just checked the rest of the box. No screws either. Oh well. I’m sure I have some around the garage.

Sadly, they are like 1,000 miles away.... good interest rate, but inconveniently located for me. Should have just paid cash for it....

Thanks for the input. Would have been a good solution.

Lender isn't willing to provide a photo of the check?

No, I completed the paperwork online this morning once I got the VIN. I called and they said they don't provide a photo and that the check would be sent today. I'll wait to see what my guide says about it and worst case is it'll just take a bit longer. I'll still get the truck s00n, just not as s00n as I would like.

I was just kind of confused by the disconnect between what is stated in the check list and what is in the 8 step process about documentation. I'm impatient enough that if I had known that you needed a photo of the check and tracking number to proceed, I may have chosen differently. Since I had the loan documents and would have the check in hand by delivery, I thought following the checklist would be fine. No place to upload the loan documentation so we'll see. I don't even know if this will hold up finishing the rest of the steps or scheduling delivery or not.

Was this PenFed? I’m thinking about using them for the Tesla M3 I have on order and the Rivian R1S. But if they ship a check and don’t provide proof for Rivian to move forward (until you get it in the mail) then I may go a different route.

Yep, got 2.39% but apparently this is the only way they will fund the loan.

Doh. I got 2.74% for the Tesla which is pretty good and the lowest they offer it seems. I may try PenFed as well. Now to think about what to do for Rivian (I have like a year anyway lol, I’m in 1st half of 2023 R1S).

I did misrepresent them in a previous post. The nearest branch is less than 1000 miles away.... there is one in San Diego if that is close to you. Still hundreds of miles from me and I am not that impatient.
